The goals of treatment are to relieve your symptoms, prevent possible complications, and improve your quality of life. There are many ways in which your veins could be troubling you, both cosmetically and medically. Of course the best way to determine which solution best fits your needs is through an office visit, we have provided some information to help you understand your potential condition and the treatments we offer.
Could your cosmetic concern be a medical issue?
When people think of vein care, spider and varicose veins are often the first issues that come to mind. Varicose veins and spider veins form in the legs as the result of pressure and backflow of blood. Age, heredity, obesity, pregnancy, and certain medical conditions are all common contributing factors. While being cosmetically bothersome, these ugly annoyances may be telling you something more. If you have other problems, such as sore, tired or restless legs, swelling, skin changes, or heaviness - just to name a few, your veins may be more than a cosmetic issue; these are all symptoms of a common, treatable medical condition called Venous Insufficiency. Newer therapies allow us to treat veins without the long recovery periods, pain, and risks of scarring that often accompanies other vein surgeries. We’re proud to offer advanced, minimally invasive treatments that can have you back into your daily routine almost immediately.
If you’re bothered by the appearance or symptoms of varicose veins or spider veins, we welcome you to come talk to us. If you're looking for a simple treatment to help erase minor veins, and do not suffer from other leg troubles, learn more about laser and Sclerotherapy cosmetic treatment options here.

Vein Treatments and Procedures
We use ultrasound to create images of the veins in your legs for diagnosis and treatment planning. Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to create instant images on a monitor. The images depict the blood flow and health of a vein.
Endovenous Laser Therapy (ELVT)
Endovenous Laser Thereapy (EVLT) is an alternative to traditional vein stripping surgery for many people. Endovenous Laser Therapy uses laser energy to completely close targeted vein. The outcome of Endovenous Laser Therapy is equal or greater than traditional vein stripping, including improving the appearance of the legs.
Phlebectomy is a minimally invasive procedure that vanishes unsightly surface varicose veins. Phlebectomy is an option for veins that are too large to be treated with Sclerotherapy. The treatment involved removing medium and large varicose veins through tiny skin punctures that usually do not require stitches.
Sclerotherapy uses small injections of medications to shrink and dissolve fine purple colred spirder veins and small varicose veins. Sclerotherapy may follow varicose vein treatments for optimal results. Sclerotherapy is a fast and easy way to have clear youthful looking legs.
VNUS Closure™ procedure. New name, same proven results. Venefit™ is a clinically proven, minimally invasive procedure that treats varicose veins and their underlying case, venous reflux, with little or no pain. Closure patients can walk away from the vein procedure and be back to everyday activities - either at home or at work - typically within a day.
- Less Pain
- Less Bruising
- Fewer Complications
The procedure involves inserting a tiny tube into the large saphenous vein. A radiofrequency fiber is passed through the tube to deliver heat that closes the vein’s wall. The treated vein does not need to be removed from the body and eventually vanishes.
